Year 5 had a great taste of life in a secondary school today. They had three lessons and behaved fantastically all day.
Our first lesson after arriving was English, where the children had an opportunity to show off their persuasive writing skills by writing a persuasive speech based on ‘Mr. Stink’ by David Walliams.
For the second lesson 2 of the 3 groups did art, where they designed their own Easter cards. The other group did cooking, where they made delicious smelling quiches!
After lunch they all did maths, where they had the opportunity to look at patterns in times tables by exploring ‘Vedic square’ patterns.
