We had a wonderful time visiting Layer Marney Tower and experiencing some aspects of Tudor Life. We climbed the spiral staircase in the tower and went into the room where Queen Elizabeth 1 stayed. We played some Tudor games and went round the maypole. We found out about how boys were trained to be knights and held and tried on some of the armour. We also had a go ourselves at using a bow and arrow to shoot at the enemy. It was a tiring day but we learnt a lot!
